Refunds and balance policy

What happens to your money when an eSIM is not installed, when it cannot be delivered, and when a payment goes wrong. One written rule, and a balance that only holds credits.

Quick answer

Can I get a refund on an eSIM paid in crypto?

At eSIMwithCrypto, the refund rule is: an eSIM that is not installed, or that we cannot deliver, is credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refundable. Credits go to your balance, never back to a wallet: they never expire, pay your next eSIMs and top-ups, and are not refundable. Each order, from $0.89, is paid in crypto at its exact price, with no minimum and no ID.

When is an eSIM credited back to my balance?

In two cases, under our rule: an eSIM that is not installed, or that we cannot deliver, is credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refundable.

  • The eSIM was not installed. If you bought an eSIM and never installed it on a phone, ask support: its price is credited back to your balance.
  • We cannot deliver the eSIM. If the eSIM cannot be prepared for you, its price is credited back to your balance.

The credit is in US dollars, at the price you paid. It is used first on your next order: another eSIM, a data top-up or another destination.

What does installed mean?

An eSIM is installed once its profile has been downloaded to a phone or tablet, with the QR code, the activation code or the Install on this iPhone button. It counts as installed even if it has not connected to a network or used any data yet.

An installed eSIM is not refundable, because the QR code works once, on one phone, and a deleted eSIM cannot be installed again. It also cannot be moved to another phone. So check before you install:

  • Your phone supports eSIM. Dial *#06#: an EID number means it does.
  • Your phone is not locked to a carrier. A locked phone installs the eSIM but does not connect.
  • The destination and the plan are right. Prices and validities are on the pricing page.

Not sure? Write to support before you install. Compatible models: eSIM-compatible phones.

What happens when an eSIM cannot be delivered?

Its price is credited back to your balance, and the credit is used first on your next order. My eSIMs shows each eSIM as Awaiting payment, Being prepared, Ready to install, Active or Expired. The QR code usually appears a few minutes after your payment is confirmed.

If the QR code is still missing after an hour, contact support with the order reference.

What is my balance for?

In short, your balance only holds credits, for example an eSIM that was not installed or could not be delivered; credits never expire, pay your next eSIMs and data top-ups, and are not refundable.

You never fund the balance yourself. At checkout, you pay the exact price of your order in crypto, with no minimum and no top-up. A 1 GB plan from $0.89 is paid at its own price. Credits are kept in US dollars and are used first at checkout, so you pay only the missing amount. They are not paid back out in crypto.

What if I sent the wrong amount, the wrong coin or used the wrong network?

It depends on the mistake. Contact support at once in every case.

  • Less than the amount shown, or after the 30-minute countdown: do not send a second payment on your own. Write to support with the coin, the network, the amount, the time and the TXID. We find the transaction on the blockchain and tell you what can be done.
  • Wrong coin or wrong network: we accept USDT only on Tron (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20), and USDC only on Ethereum (ERC-20). Funds sent in another coin or on another network, such as BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum or Base, may be lost. We cannot promise to recover them.

Each coin and network is explained on pay with crypto.

How do I ask for a credit?

Write to [email protected], or open a ticket in your account. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, including help with installing and activating your eSIM.

Include:

  • the order reference;
  • for a payment problem, the coin, the network, the exact amount and the time you sent it, with your timezone.

We find the transaction on the blockchain and tell you what can be done. We never ask for your account number or your eSIM activation code (QR code) by email or chat. Never send your account number by email or chat: it opens your eSIMs and your balance.

Can I dispute a crypto payment like a card chargeback?

No. A crypto payment goes straight from your wallet to the address on the payment page, with no card issuer or bank in between. Only the receiver can send funds back. This policy is the remedy instead: an eSIM that is not installed, or that we cannot deliver, is credited back to your balance.

Refunds and balance: FAQ

I bought the wrong destination. Can I get a credit?

Yes, if you have not installed it. An eSIM that is not installed is credited back to your balance; write to support with the order reference. The credit is then used first when you buy the right destination. Once installed, an eSIM is not refundable, so check the destination before you scan the QR code.

My phone turned out to be carrier-locked. Can I get a refund?

Only if the eSIM was not installed. A carrier-locked phone can install an eSIM but cannot connect with it, and an installed eSIM is not refundable. Check the lock before you install: on iPhone, Settings › General › About › Carrier Lock must say No SIM restrictions.

Can I withdraw my balance in crypto?

No. The balance only holds credits, and they pay for new eSIMs and data top-ups. They are not paid back out in crypto or in any other way. They never expire, so they stay available for your next trips. You never need to fund the balance: at checkout, you pay the exact price of your order in crypto, with no minimum and no top-up.

Does my eSIMwithCrypto balance expire?

No. Credits on your balance never expire: they stay on your account and are used first on new eSIMs and data top-ups, but they are not refundable. Credits are kept in US dollars, so their value does not move with the price of the coin you paid with.

I deleted my eSIM by mistake. Can you replace it?

We cannot promise it: the QR code works once, on one phone, and a deleted eSIM cannot be installed again. A deleted eSIM counts as installed, so it is not refundable. Write to support with the order reference anyway. To avoid this, turn the line off in your phone's settings instead of deleting it.

I sent USDT on BNB Chain by mistake. Can you recover it?

We cannot promise it. eSIMwithCrypto accepts USDT only on Tron (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20). Funds sent on BNB Chain (BEP-20), Polygon or another network may be lost. Email support at once with the amount, the network and the time you sent it, and we check what can be done.

Can I get my money back if I change my mind?

Only as a credit, and only if the eSIM is not installed. Our only refund rule is the one on this page: an eSIM that is not installed, or that we cannot deliver, is credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refundable. Credits go to your balance, not back to your wallet. An installed eSIM is not refunded, even if it was used less than planned or not at all.

Do I need to prove my identity to ask about a payment?

No. eSIMwithCrypto never asks for an ID, a selfie or documents. We find your payment with the order reference, the coin, the network, the amount and the time. We never ask for your account number or your eSIM activation code (QR code) by email or chat.

A question about an order or a payment?

Write to support with the order reference. No ID needed, ever.
