2026-10-09: checkout at the exact price, no minimum top-up
Changed. Who is affected: every customer, from the day of the launch. The prepaid balance with a minimum top-up is replaced by a checkout at the exact price of each order.
- Exact price: you pay the exact price of your order in crypto, with no minimum and no top-up.
- How it works: pick a plan, then choose the coin and the network. The payment page shows the exact amount, the address with its QR code and a 30-minute countdown. Send that exact amount in one transfer.
- Delivery: once the network confirms the payment (about 1 minute for SOL and USDT TRC-20, 5 minutes for ETH and ERC-20 tokens, 15 minutes for LTC and 20 minutes for BTC), the eSIM is bought and its QR code appears in My eSIMs.
- Cart: up to 10 different plans per order, and up to 10 eSIMs of each plan.
- Balance: your balance only holds credits, for example an eSIM that was not installed or could not be delivered; credits never expire, pay your next eSIMs and data top-ups, and are not refundable. Credits are used first, and you pay only the missing amount.
- Data top-ups for an eSIM already on your phone are paid the same way, at their exact price.
- Network fee: paid by the sender, on top of the price. On a very small order, it can be large compared with the price: check the live fee of your network before you send, or put several eSIMs in one order.
- Unchanged: the coins and networks, the confirmations, the plan prices and the refund rule: an eSIM that is not installed, or that we cannot deliver, is credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refundable.

- Changed: a change to how something works.

Changelog: FAQ
Why does the eSIMwithCrypto changelog start on October 9, 2026?
Because eSIMwithCrypto launched on October 9, 2026, and we do not backdate entries. The first entry describes the service at launch: 202 destinations, six plan formats, 7 coin-and-network options and the published policies. The second, from the same day, moved checkout to the exact price of each order. New entries will be added newest first.
Is there still a minimum top-up at eSIMwithCrypto?
No. Since October 9, 2026, you pay the exact price of your order in crypto, with no minimum and no top-up. The payment page shows the exact amount, locked for 30 minutes. Credits on your balance, if any, are used first. The network fee comes on top: on a very small order, check it before you send. Details: how it works.
Will price changes appear in the changelog?
Yes. Prices are reviewed monthly, and every price change is listed as a Price entry with its date. A change never applies to an eSIM you have already paid. Current prices are always on the pricing page and in pricing.json, which are generated from the same data as this site.
Were prices checked against competitors at launch?
Compare the dated destination rows in the Travel eSIM Price Index 2026. Allowance, validity, currency and observation date matter; no market-wide price ranking is claimed.
Where can I see which eSIM sellers accept which coins?
In our crypto acceptance matrix, published at launch on October 9, 2026. It lists eSIM sellers with the coins and networks they accept, and the date each one was checked. eSIMwithCrypto accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC), at the same dollar price on every network, with no ID at checkout.
How will I know when a policy changes?
Each change to one of our four policies gets a Policy entry here, with its date and a short summary. The four are the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the refunds policy and the Acceptable Use Policy. The policy page itself also shows its new update date, and the new version applies from that date.
Will eSIMwithCrypto add Monero, phone numbers or hotspot rules?
We make no promise about dates. As of October 9, 2026, Monero is not accepted, every eSIM is data-only, and the hotspot rule of each plan is not published yet. If a coin, a feature or a rule is added, it will appear here as an Added or Changed entry, with its date.
