How do I pay for an eSIM with Ethereum (ETH)?
Six steps, from choosing a plan to an eSIM on your phone.
Choose your eSIM
Find your destination on the destinations page, or compare every plan on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and the same in every coin.
Choose ETH on Ethereum mainnet
At checkout, pick ETH on Ethereum mainnet. The payment page shows the exact amount of your order and a 30-minute countdown. Our address is an Ethereum address of 42 characters, starting with 0x.
Send the exact amount
Send the exact amount, in one transfer, from your wallet or your exchange. On the withdrawal screen of your exchange, choose the Ethereum network, which some exchanges call ERC-20. Do not choose Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, zkSync or BNB Smart Chain: they use the same 0x address format.
Click “I’ve sent the payment”
Click it once your wallet has sent the payment. Your payment is matched to your order by its exact amount: no transaction ID to paste, nothing else to send us.
Wait for 12 confirmations
Your payment needs 12 confirmations on Ethereum mainnet, usually about 5 minutes. The eSIM is then bought.
Install your eSIM
Scan the QR code in My eSIMs, in the client area, or use a one-tap install button on iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later. Install on Wi-Fi before you leave, then turn on the line and data roaming when you land.
Which network must I use to send ETH?
Use the Ethereum mainnet only, and send to the address shown on the payment page. ETH is accepted on the Ethereum mainnet only, not on layer-2 networks or other chains.
How much does it cost to pay with Ethereum (ETH)?
eSIMwithCrypto adds no fee for paying with Ethereum (ETH): you pay the dollar price of the eSIM, the same in every coin. The network fee is paid by the sender, on top of the exact amount. Every Ethereum transaction pays gas in ETH, on top of the amount. Gas changes with demand on the network, so the same transfer can cost more or less from one hour to the next.
We have not measured network fees yet, so we give no figure. Check the live fee before you send: the Etherscan Gas Tracker (etherscan.io/gastracker), and the withdrawal screen of your exchange. If your exchange takes its withdrawal fee from the amount, add it so that the exact amount arrives. The full breakdown is on what a crypto payment really costs.
Which wallet or exchange can I use?
Any wallet or exchange that can send ETH on the Ethereum mainnet works, with a normal blockchain transfer to the address shown. Keep a little more ETH than the amount shown: the gas comes from the same wallet.
On the withdrawal screen of your exchange, choose the Ethereum network, which some exchanges call ERC-20. Do not choose Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, zkSync or BNB Smart Chain: they use the same 0x address format.
Payment services inside an exchange, such as Binance Pay, are not blockchain transfers, so they are not accepted. Each order is paid on its own, at its exact price: there is no balance to fund first.

How payment works
Pay the exact price of your order
There is no minimum and no balance to fund. The cart allows up to 10 different plans per order, and up to 10 eSIMs of each plan. Choose the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC) and the network: the payment page shows the exact crypto amount, locked for 30 minutes, with a countdown. Credits on your balance, if any, are used first.
Send it to the address shown, on the exact network
The payment page shows our address for the coin and network you picked, with its QR code: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the price.
Send the exact amount in one transfer, then click “I’ve sent the payment”
Each order has its own exact amount, down to the last decimals: that is how we find your payment and link it to your order.
Wait for the network confirmations
Your payment is confirmed once the network has confirmed the transaction. Usual times:
Crypto Network Confirmations Usual time BTC Bitcoin 2 ≈ 20 min USDT Tron (TRC-20) 20 ≈ 1 min USDT Ethereum (ERC-20) 12 ≈ 5 min USDC Ethereum (ERC-20) 12 ≈ 5 min ETH Ethereum 12 ≈ 5 min SOL Solana 1 ≈ 1 min LTC Litecoin 6 ≈ 15 min Your eSIM appears in My eSIMs
Once the payment is checked, the eSIM is bought and its QR code appears in My eSIMs, usually a few minutes after the payment is confirmed on the blockchain. Install it on Wi-Fi before you leave.
Closed the tab? The pending payment stays in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.
What else should I check when paying with Ethereum (ETH)?
Do you ask for ID when I pay with Ethereum (ETH)?
No. eSIMwithCrypto asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. You pay the exact price of your order in ETH on Ethereum mainnet, with no minimum. Your account is a 16-digit account number created at payment, with no email needed. Email is optional, for receipts, reminders and account recovery.
How many confirmations does a Ethereum (ETH) payment need?
12 on Ethereum mainnet, usually about 5 minutes. Other coins: 2 confirmations for BTC, 20 for USDT on TRC-20, 12 for ETH and ERC-20 tokens, 1 for SOL and 6 for LTC. In time, that is about 1 minute for SOL and USDT TRC-20, 5 minutes for ETH and ERC-20 tokens, 15 minutes for LTC and 20 minutes for BTC.
What happens if I send ETH on the wrong network?
The payment does not pay your order: funds sent on another network or in another coin can't be recovered. ETH is accepted on the Ethereum mainnet only, not on layer-2 networks or other chains. Compare the network in your wallet or exchange with the payment page before you confirm. If you are unsure, write to [email protected] before you send.
Does the ETH price change while I pay?
Not for 30 minutes. Prices are in US dollars: the payment page converts the price into ETH, then locks the amount and the rate. Send the exact amount within that time. Once the payment is confirmed, your eSIM is bought at its dollar price, so later moves of the ETH price do not change it.
Is there a minimum ETH payment?
No. At checkout, you pay the exact price of your order in crypto, with no minimum and no top-up, even for a plan at $0.89. The network fee is paid by the sender, on top of the price. On a very small order, it can be large compared with the price: check the live fee before you send, or put several eSIMs in one order.
Can I get a refund in ETH?
No. Payments are not paid back in crypto. The refund rule is: an eSIM that is not installed, or that we cannot deliver, is credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refundable. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable. The refunds page explains the rules in full.
Is a ETH payment private?
Crypto transfers are recorded on public blockchains, and mobile networks process device and connection information. An eSIM does not encrypt internet traffic. Read the privacy policy for the records processed by this service.
Can I pay with ETH on Arbitrum, Optimism or Base?
No. ETH is accepted on the Ethereum mainnet only. ETH sent on a layer-2 network is not credited to your order and can't be recovered. Withdraw to the Ethereum mainnet, or pay with another accepted coin such as USDT on Tron (TRC-20).
Do I pay the gas on top of the amount?
Yes. The sender pays the gas in ETH, on top of the exact amount shown on the payment page. eSIMwithCrypto adds no fee of its own. Gas changes with demand on the network, so check the Etherscan Gas Tracker just before you send.
How long does an ETH payment take?
Usually about 5 minutes. eSIMwithCrypto confirms an ETH payment after 12 confirmations on the Ethereum mainnet. Then the eSIM is bought, and its QR code appears in My eSIMs. For a faster confirmation, SOL and USDT on Tron (TRC-20) usually take about 1 minute.
Which other crypto assets can I use?
Each coin and network has its own page. All of them: pay for an eSIM with crypto.
