How do I pay for an eSIM with Solana (SOL)?

Six steps, from choosing a plan to an eSIM on your phone.

  1. Choose your eSIM

Find your destination on the destinations page, or compare every plan on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and the same in every coin.

  2. Choose SOL on Solana

At checkout, pick SOL on Solana. The payment page shows the exact amount of your order and a 30-minute countdown. Our address is a Solana address of 32 to 44 letters and digits.

  3. Send the exact amount

Send the exact amount, in one transfer, from your wallet or your exchange. On the withdrawal screen of your exchange, choose the SOL coin on the Solana network. Do not withdraw USDC or USDT on Solana to this address.

  4. Click “I’ve sent the payment”

Click it once your wallet has sent the payment. Your payment is matched to your order by its exact amount: no transaction ID to paste, nothing else to send us.

  5. Wait for 1 confirmation

Your payment needs 1 confirmation on Solana, usually about 1 minute. The eSIM is then bought.

  6. Install your eSIM

Scan the QR code in My eSIMs, in the client area, or use a one-tap install button on iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later. Install on Wi-Fi before you leave, then turn on the line and data roaming when you land.

Which network must I use to send SOL?

Use the Solana network only, and send to the address shown on the payment page. SOL is accepted on the Solana network only. Tokens on Solana (SPL tokens), including USDC and USDT, are not accepted.

How much does it cost to pay with Solana (SOL)?

eSIMwithCrypto adds no fee for paying with Solana (SOL): you pay the dollar price of the eSIM, the same in every coin. The network fee is paid by the sender, on top of the exact amount. Every Solana transaction pays a base fee per signature, plus an optional priority fee, both in SOL. Wallets may add a priority fee when the network is busy.

We have not measured network fees yet, so we give no figure. Check the live fee before you send: a Solana block explorer such as Solana Explorer (explorer.solana.com), and the withdrawal screen of your exchange. If your exchange takes its withdrawal fee from the amount, add it so that the exact amount arrives. The full breakdown is on what a crypto payment really costs.

Which wallet or exchange can I use?

Any wallet or exchange that can send SOL on the Solana network works, with a normal blockchain transfer to the address shown. Keep a little more SOL than the amount shown: the fee comes from the same wallet.

On the withdrawal screen of your exchange, choose the SOL coin on the Solana network. Do not withdraw USDC or USDT on Solana to this address.

Payment services inside an exchange, such as Binance Pay, are not blockchain transfers, so they are not accepted. Each order is paid on its own, at its exact price: there is no balance to fund first.

Can I pay for an eSIM with USDC on Solana?

No. eSIMwithCrypto does not accept USDC on Solana, or any other token on Solana. A USDC transfer on Solana does not pay your order and can’t be recovered.

USDC exists on many networks: Circle lists 38 blockchains with native USDC, including Ethereum and Solana (checked October 9, 2026). We accept it on one of them only: Ethereum (ERC-20), credited after 12 confirmations, usually in about 5 minutes. Details: USDC (ERC-20) eSIM payment.

My USDC is on Solana: what can I do?

You have three options:

  1. Pay with SOL instead, if you hold some or can swap to it in your wallet.
  2. Move your USDC to Ethereum through an exchange: deposit it on Solana, then withdraw it on Ethereum (ERC-20). The exchange must support both networks. For example, Kraken lists USDC on Solana and on Ethereum (support page, updated June 2, 2026).
  3. Pay with another accepted coin, such as USDT on Tron (TRC-20).

A swap or a withdrawal has its own fees, set by the wallet or the exchange. Check them before you start. A USDC transfer on Ethereum also needs ETH for gas, unless you send it from an exchange.

SOL or USDC on Ethereum: which should I use?

Both pay for any eSIM at the same dollar price. The differences:

  • Speed: SOL is confirmed in about 1 minute; USDC on Ethereum in about 5 minutes.
  • Value: USDC is designed to track the US dollar. SOL moves with the market, but the amount is locked for 30 minutes, and the order is paid in full once the payment is confirmed.
  • Fee: SOL pays a Solana fee in SOL; USDC on Ethereum pays gas in ETH, which changes with demand. We have not measured either fee yet. Either fee comes on top of the price.
  • Wallet: a USDC transfer from your own wallet needs ETH for gas; a SOL transfer needs only SOL.

How payment works

  1. Pay the exact price of your order

There is no minimum and no balance to fund. The cart allows up to 10 different plans per order, and up to 10 eSIMs of each plan. Choose the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC) and the network: the payment page shows the exact crypto amount, locked for 30 minutes, with a countdown. Credits on your balance, if any, are used first.

  2. Send it to the address shown, on the exact network

The payment page shows our address for the coin and network you picked, with its QR code: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the price.

  3. Send the exact amount in one transfer, then click “I’ve sent the payment”

Each order has its own exact amount, down to the last decimals: that is how we find your payment and link it to your order.

  4. Wait for the network confirmations

Your payment is confirmed once the network has confirmed the transaction. Usual times:

    CryptoNetworkConfirmationsUsual time
    BTCBitcoin2≈ 20 min
    USDTTron (TRC-20)20≈ 1 min
    USDTEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    USDCEthereum (ERC-20)12≈ 5 min
    ETHEthereum12≈ 5 min
    SOLSolana1≈ 1 min
    LTCLitecoin6≈ 15 min
  5. Your eSIM appears in My eSIMs

Once the payment is checked, the eSIM is bought and its QR code appears in My eSIMs, usually a few minutes after the payment is confirmed on the blockchain. Install it on Wi-Fi before you leave.

Closed the tab? The pending payment stays in your account: open it to see the address and the exact amount again.

What else should I check when paying with Solana (SOL)?

Do you ask for ID when I pay with Solana (SOL)?

No. eSIMwithCrypto asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. You pay the exact price of your order in SOL on Solana, with no minimum. Your account is a 16-digit account number created at payment, with no email needed. Email is optional, for receipts, reminders and account recovery.

How many confirmations does a Solana (SOL) payment need?

1 on Solana, usually about 1 minute. Other coins: 2 confirmations for BTC, 20 for USDT on TRC-20, 12 for ETH and ERC-20 tokens, 1 for SOL and 6 for LTC. In time, that is about 1 minute for SOL and USDT TRC-20, 5 minutes for ETH and ERC-20 tokens, 15 minutes for LTC and 20 minutes for BTC.

What happens if I send SOL on the wrong network?

The payment does not pay your order: funds sent on another network or in another coin can't be recovered. SOL is accepted on the Solana network only. Tokens on Solana (SPL tokens), including USDC and USDT, are not accepted. Compare the network in your wallet or exchange with the payment page before you confirm. If you are unsure, write to [email protected] before you send.

Does the SOL price change while I pay?

Not for 30 minutes. Prices are in US dollars: the payment page converts the price into SOL, then locks the amount and the rate. Send the exact amount within that time. Once the payment is confirmed, your eSIM is bought at its dollar price, so later moves of the SOL price do not change it.

Is there a minimum SOL payment?

No. At checkout, you pay the exact price of your order in crypto, with no minimum and no top-up, even for a plan at $0.89. The network fee is paid by the sender, on top of the price. On a very small order, it can be large compared with the price: check the live fee before you send, or put several eSIMs in one order.

Can I get a refund in SOL?

No. Payments are not paid back in crypto. The refund rule is: an eSIM that is not installed, or that we cannot deliver, is credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refundable. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable. The refunds page explains the rules in full.

Is a SOL payment private?

Crypto transfers are recorded on public blockchains, and mobile networks process device and connection information. An eSIM does not encrypt internet traffic. Read the privacy policy for the records processed by this service.

How long does a SOL payment take?

Usually about 1 minute. eSIMwithCrypto confirms a SOL payment after 1 confirmation on Solana. The eSIM is then bought, and its QR code appears in My eSIMs. SOL and USDT on Tron (TRC-20) are the fastest coins we accept; USDC on Ethereum takes about 5 minutes, after 12 confirmations.

Can I pay with USDT on Solana?

No. USDT is accepted on Tron (TRC-20) and on Ethereum (ERC-20) only, and on Solana we accept native SOL only. USDT sent on Solana is not credited to your order and can't be recovered. Withdraw your USDT on Tron or Ethereum instead, or pay in SOL.

Which eSIM sellers accept USDC on Solana?

As of October 9, 2026, eSIM-Now is the only seller we checked that names USDC on Solana on its own pages. Cryptorefills lists USDC and Solana, but not which coin works on which network. eSIMwithCrypto accepts USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) only, and native SOL on Solana.

Do I need ETH to pay with USDC?

From a self-custody wallet, yes. USDC on Ethereum is an ERC-20 token, and every ERC-20 transfer pays gas in ETH, so keep some ETH in the same wallet. From an exchange, no: you pay the exchange’s withdrawal fee instead. SOL needs no other coin: its fee is paid in SOL.

Which other crypto assets can I use?

Each coin and network has its own page. All of them: pay for an eSIM with crypto.
