## How do I pay for an eSIM with USDC (ERC-20)?

Six steps, from choosing a plan to an eSIM on your phone.

1. **Choose your eSIM** — Find your destination on the destinations page, or compare every plan on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars and the same in every coin.
2. **Choose USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20)** — At checkout, pick USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20). The payment page shows the exact amount of your order and a 30-minute countdown. Our address is an Ethereum address of 42 characters, starting with 0x.
3. **Send the exact amount** — Send the exact amount, in one transfer, from your wallet or your exchange. On the withdrawal screen of your exchange, choose Ethereum or ERC-20 for USDC. Your exchange may also offer USDC on Solana, Base, Polygon or Arbitrum: none of them is accepted.
4. **Click “I’ve sent the payment”** — Click it once your wallet has sent the payment. Your payment is matched to your order by its exact amount: no transaction ID to paste, nothing else to send us.
5. **Wait for 12 confirmations** — Your payment needs 12 confirmations on Ethereum (ERC-20), usually about 5 minutes. The eSIM is then bought.
6. **Install your eSIM** — Scan the QR code in My eSIMs, in the client area, or use a one-tap install button on iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later. Install on Wi-Fi before you leave, then turn on the line and data roaming when you land.

## Which network must I use to send USDC?

Use the Ethereum network (ERC-20) only, and send to the address shown on the payment page. USDC is accepted on Ethereum (ERC-20) only. USDC on Solana, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or any other network is not accepted.

> **Check the network before you send** Do not send USDC on Solana: SOL is accepted on Solana, but USDC on Solana is not. Do not send USDC on Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or Optimism: they use the same 0x address format. Do not send ETH, USDT or another token to the address shown for a USDC payment. Do not let your exchange deduct its withdrawal fee from the amount: the exact amount must arrive. Funds sent on another network or in another coin can't be recovered. If you are unsure, ask support before you send, not after.

## How much does it cost to pay with USDC (ERC-20)?

eSIMwithCrypto adds no fee for paying with USDC (ERC-20): you pay the dollar price of the eSIM, the same in every coin. The network fee is paid by the sender, on top of the exact amount. A USDC transfer on Ethereum pays gas in ETH, like any ERC-20 token. Gas changes with demand on the network, so the same transfer can cost more or less from one hour to the next.

We have not measured network fees yet, so we give no figure. Check the live fee before you send: the Etherscan Gas Tracker (etherscan.io/gastracker), and the withdrawal screen of your exchange. If your exchange takes its withdrawal fee from the amount, add it so that the exact amount arrives. The full breakdown is on [what a crypto payment really costs](https://esimwithcrypto.com/crypto-payment-cost/).

## Which wallet or exchange can I use?

Any wallet or exchange that can send USDC on the Ethereum network (ERC-20) works, with a normal blockchain transfer to the address shown. From a self-custody wallet, keep some ETH next to your USDC to pay the gas.

On the withdrawal screen of your exchange, choose Ethereum or ERC-20 for USDC. Your exchange may also offer USDC on Solana, Base, Polygon or Arbitrum: none of them is accepted.

Payment services inside an exchange, such as Binance Pay, are not blockchain transfers, so they are not accepted. Each order is paid on its own, at its exact price: there is no balance to fund first.

We sell eSIMs. Our plans are included and marked. Competitor details come from each seller's own payment or help pages, checked October 9, 2026. "Network not stated" means that the seller's page names USDC but not the network, so you cannot know before checkout which USDC works there. ## How payment works

1. **Pay the exact price of your order** — There is no minimum and no balance to fund. The cart allows up to 10 different plans per order, and up to 10 eSIMs of each plan. Choose the coin (BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC) and the network: the payment page shows the exact crypto amount, locked for 30 minutes, with a countdown. Credits on your balance, if any, are used first.
2. **Send it to the address shown, on the exact network** — The payment page shows our address for the coin and network you picked, with its QR code: BTC on Bitcoin, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20), USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH on Ethereum, SOL on Solana, LTC on Litecoin. Send only that coin on that network: funds sent on another network or in another coin can’t be recovered. The network fee comes on top of the price.
3. **Send the exact amount in one transfer, then click “I’ve sent the payment”** — Each order has its own exact amount, down to the last decimals: that is how we find your payment and link it to your order.
4. **Wait for the network confirmations** — Your payment is confirmed once the network has confirmed the transaction. Usual times:
5. **Your eSIM appears in My eSIMs** — Once the payment is checked, the eSIM is bought and its QR code appears in My eSIMs, usually a few minutes after the payment is confirmed on the blockchain. Install it on Wi-Fi before you leave.

| Crypto | Network | Confirmations | Usual time |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Bitcoin | 2 | ≈ 20 min |
| Tether (USDT) | Tron (TRC-20) | 20 | ≈ 1 min |
| Tether (USDT) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| USD Coin (USDC) | Ethereum (ERC-20) | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| Ethereum (ETH) | Ethereum | 12 | ≈ 5 min |
| Solana (SOL) | Solana | 1 | ≈ 1 min |
| Litecoin (LTC) | Litecoin | 6 | ≈ 15 min |

## What else should I check when paying with USDC (ERC-20)?

### Do you ask for ID when I pay with USDC (ERC-20)?

No. eSIMwithCrypto asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. You pay the exact price of your order in USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20), with no minimum. Your account is a 16-digit account number created at payment, with no email needed. Email is optional, for receipts, reminders and account recovery.

### How many confirmations does a USDC (ERC-20) payment need?

12 on Ethereum (ERC-20), usually about 5 minutes. Other coins: 2 confirmations for BTC, 20 for USDT on TRC-20, 12 for ETH and ERC-20 tokens, 1 for SOL and 6 for LTC. In time, that is about 1 minute for SOL and USDT TRC-20, 5 minutes for ETH and ERC-20 tokens, 15 minutes for LTC and 20 minutes for BTC.

### What happens if I send USDC on the wrong network?

The payment does not pay your order: funds sent on another network or in another coin can't be recovered. USDC is accepted on Ethereum (ERC-20) only. USDC on Solana, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or any other network is not accepted. Compare the network in your wallet or exchange with the payment page before you confirm. If you are unsure, write to support@esimwithcrypto.com before you send.

### Is the USDC amount fixed?

Yes, for 30 minutes. Prices are in US dollars, and the payment page shows the exact USDC amount to send, to the last decimal. That exact amount is how your payment is matched to your order. If your exchange deducts a withdrawal fee from the amount, add it so that the exact amount arrives.

### Is there a minimum USDC payment?

No. At checkout, you pay the exact price of your order in crypto, with no minimum and no top-up, even for a plan at $0.89. The network fee is paid by the sender, on top of the price. On a very small order, it can be large compared with the price: check the live fee before you send, or put several eSIMs in one order.

### Can I get a refund in USDC?

No. Payments are not paid back in crypto. The refund rule is: an eSIM that is not installed, or that we cannot deliver, is credited back to your balance; an installed eSIM is not refundable. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new eSIMs and top-ups, but it is not refundable. The [refunds page](https://esimwithcrypto.com/refunds/) explains the rules in full.

### Is a USDC payment private?

Crypto transfers are recorded on public blockchains, and mobile networks process device and connection information. An eSIM does not encrypt internet traffic. Read the [privacy policy](https://esimwithcrypto.com/privacy/) for the records processed by this service.

### Can I pay for an eSIM with USDC on Solana?

No. eSIMwithCrypto accepts USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) only. USDC sent on Solana is not credited to your order and can't be recovered. If your funds are on Solana, pay with native SOL instead. Or withdraw your USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) from an exchange that offers it. Options: [SOL and USDC options](https://esimwithcrypto.com/pay/solana/).

### Can I pay with USDC on Base, Polygon or Arbitrum?

No. Only USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) is accepted. Base, Polygon and Arbitrum use the same 0x address format as Ethereum, so a wallet may let you send on the wrong network by mistake. Check the network twice before you confirm the transfer.

### Do I need ETH to send USDC?

From a self-custody wallet, yes. USDC on Ethereum is an ERC-20 token, and every ERC-20 transfer pays gas in ETH. Keep some ETH in the same wallet. From an exchange, you pay the exchange's withdrawal fee instead and do not need ETH.
